Mapei UltraCare Keranet Cleaner 1L

The UltraCare Keranet Cleaner is an acid-based concentrated cleaning product, designed to remove cementitious residues from porcelain, ceramic and all acid-resistant materials. Provided in liquid form, this versatile Keranet cleaner is for cleaning internal or external surfaces (including façades) that have been grouted using cementitious grouts and removes concrete stains, residues of installation and grouting operations, respecting the cement grout joint.

UltraCare Keranet is suitable for use on acid-resistant materials such as porcelain, ceramic, glass mosaics, quarry tiles, terracotta and acid-resistant natural stone. It can also easily removes any limescale, rust stains and efflorescence or adhesive residues from the installed material, leaving a perfectly clean surface.

Application Instructions

• Apply product in a temperature of 0°C to 40°C
• Only use UltraCare Keranet on completely cured grout
• Always carry out a preliminary test on a hidden sample area
• Work in manageable areas and leave to act for about 5 minutes
• Before cleaning with UltraCare Keranet protect everything that can be damaged by splashes
• Apply the product, diluted in water according to the level of residue on the surface (1:10 or 1:5) and the type of surface to be treated
• The surfaces to be cleaned, especially if very absorbent (Tuscan terracotta, porous ceramics, natural stone etc.) must be well moistened with water before treatment
• Work over the surface with a single disc cleaning machine or an emulsifying pad, then remove the solution and then rinse with plenty of clean water – for heavy residues you may need to repeat the above procedure

DO NOT USE ON: Polished marble or calcareous stone in general, limestone-based materials,
cementitious terrazzo tiles, ceramic tiles or enamelled baths with non-acid-resistant enamel.

Please note: This product can causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of vapours and mist. The user should wear appropriate protective clothing when handling the product, such as protective gloves, eye protection and face protection.
