Mapei UltraCare Stain Protector W 1L

The UltraCare Stain Protector W is a water-based impregnator that provides stain-resistant protection to surfaces with a natural effect. By reducing the amount of water, oil and grease absorbed by the surfaces, it makes them easier to both maintain and clean, whilst not affecting the original colour or breathability of the material. The product is suitable for application on food contact surfaces and can be used on floors and coatings, work surfaces, kitchen tops and bathrooms. Thanks to its water-based composition, it also can be applied on not completely dry floors and coatings as long as they have an even appearance (no stains or humidity halos).

UltraCare Stain Protector W does not create a film on the surface, is suitable for use on unpolished surfaces and is resistant to traffic, with very little effect on the breathability or the anti-slip nature of the material. The treatment can be carried out with this single product and surfaces are already set to light foot traffic 2 hours after application (in normal conditions). Easy to apply, quick-drying and with good UV stability, this is an ideal stain protector for both interior and exterior applications.

Application Instructions

• Shake well before use
• Apply product in a temperature of 5°C to 35°C
• Always carry out a preliminary test on a hidden sample area
• Wait 12 to 24 hours after washing on the clean, dry or evenly damp surface
• In one or two coats, using a brush, cloth or fleece applicator, treat the surface evenly
• Remove any excess wet product before it dries (5-10 minutes in normal conditions) using a clean cloth
• After drying (approximately 1-2 hours) a new coat can be applied, repeating the procedure described above. The application of more coats may be necessary, especially in case of highly absorbent materials

DO NOT USE ON: Stone or engineered stone surfaces with polished finish.

Maintenance Instructions

• It is advisable to wash the surfaces treated with UltraCare Stain Protector W using neutral detergents

Safety Note

Please note: Avoid contact with skin and eyes, inhalation of vapours and mists. Do not eat or drink while working. NO NEED for respiratory protection, eye protection or skin protection for normal use. For hand protection, use protective gloves made from Polychloroprene, Nitrile rubber, Butyl rubber or Fluorinated rubber that are in accordance with EN ISO 374.
